Your scalp is the soil. When it’s out of balance, everything grown from it suffers.
This treatment pairs the evo Ground Control rinse-out scalp treatment with our signature holistic shampoo protocol — targeting dryness, flaking, irritation, and scalp imbalance at the source. A plant-based prebiotic works to restore your scalp’s natural hydration barrier, while grape seed oil and panthenol flood the hair shaft with softness, strength, and shine. Eucalyptus and peppermint cool and calm on contact — the kind of reset your crown has been asking for.
Woven into your service by your stylist, this ritual adds a layer of real scalp care to your visit — clean, intentional, and aligned with the low-tox standard Awaken holds for every guest.
Because healthy hair doesn’t begin at the strand. It begins where it grows.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I honestly cannot say enough good things about my experience at Awaken! 🥹 I have been to SO many different salons over the years, both expensive and inexpensive, and it has been incredibly difficult to find someone who truly understands what I want and can actually get it right.

I originally had an appointment somewhere else yesterday that fell through, so I called Awaken and Bennu, the owner, actually squeezed me in AFTER HOURS when they were normally closed. That alone meant so much to me! 🩷

From the moment I walked in, Bennu was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He took his time, listened to exactly what I wanted, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We had so much in common that we talked the entire time, and it honestly felt so comfortable and natural.

And the haircut itself? The best haircut I have had in YEARS. 😭🙌🏼 I walked out genuinely happy with my hair and finally felt like someone actually understood what I was asking for.

Finding someone who is talented, takes pride in what they do, listens to their clients, and makes you feel comfortable is not easy. I am SO happy I found Awaken and Bennu! 🥹🩷

If you are in Bastrop or the surrounding area and looking for someone who truly knows what they are doing, I cannot recommend Bennu and Awaken enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...more

Christopher is just amazing at what he does!!! The most honest, humble and patience person I've have ever met and I’m just forever grateful for meeting Christopher!
Being a deaf client of his, this is the most amazing experience I have ever had! The communication is so clear whereas I struggled with the past salons I've been to. He listened to every concerns I had and he addressed what needs to be done! So if you get a chance to go, you will not be disappointed and leaving there feeling beautiful! This is the most inclusive place I’ve ever been too!...more

Loved the chill space, felt very down to earth and relaxing. My haircut by Rachel was amazing, she really understood my hair and she gave me a very precise cut that left me with bouncy hair. The shampoo wash with scalp massage was my favorite. Loved it!...more

I always have the best experience when i go to Awaken! My most recent appointment i went all out and we dyed my hair 2 tones pink and red and im so in love!!!! My hair still feels shiny soft and fresh even after being lightened in the fronts, no damage!! It’s been 2 weeks and my pink color is still vibrant and going strong!
Besides their amazing skill sets and ability to use safe healthy hair care products, you also get to know some amazing down to earth people that love to care!
PLUS The head massages and sound bowl healing during the deep conditioning will leave you so calm.
I’m so glad I finally found a salon i feel comfortable and relaxed in with people who provide so much positivity!

I could go on and on and on so you should go find out for yourself!! <3

Best hair appointment since I moved from Houston! I have yet to find an hair stylist I can trust…until I met Chris. The whole experience is top tier. He is personable, kind, and communicative. He takes the time to make sure you have an excellent experience from the moment you step in the salon. On my second visit I decided to chop off what felt like 10 inches and I absolutely love it! Chris is truly an artist and has the ability to connect to a clients energy so they leave happy, refreshed, and better version of themselves.

Also, definitely do the hair detox when getting your hair washed. My crown chakra felt so cleansed and I was beaming :)
Thank you Chris and your team! Your have such a gem in Bastrop and I’ll keep visiting you from ATX...more
