I truly could not be happier with the outcome of my hair. Chris cut my hair beautifully almost a year ago and I came back from San Marcos for color this time. It had been roughly 10 years since anyone had put any color in my hair and I was very nervous. He asked my goals and walked me through the plan until we both felt good about it. I am so thankful that I waited to find Chris and the Awaken Salon the entire experience is so well worth it. Not only do you get totally pampered you also receive great knowledge about the products that are being used and the aftercare which I definitely needed some education on. You basically leave with a piece of hand painted art that you get to wear around. Top notch. Highly recommend.

First off, I was just walking in, not knowing he does appointments only but since he was finishing up with his last appointment for the day, he happily accepted me as a walk in. The scalp massage was HEAVEN and helped release so much tension from that area. Then, during the deep shampoo and condition, I was given an option for a soothing stone mask that targeted circles under the eyes and any puffiness for a fresh look. My haircut was so quick and so everything I wanted. He even used this sea salt texturing spray to bring out the natural texture and curls of my hair. I am BEYOND happy!!!
